Xiangang Ma, a male, with Han nationality, was born in Jilin province in China in April of 1957. He was once an art graduate from Arts Department in Northeast Normal University and have finished a course of study in a class for research work in Painting Department at Central Academy of Fine Arts. Now he is a professor at the art academy in Jimei university, and a director of Fujian Artists Association as well as a member of Chinese Artists Association.

His works've been presented in the international art exhibition titled "Justice and Peace" commemorating the Second World War, and in many national shows such as the National Youth Painting Show titled "Walking into a New Century", "the Ninth National Art Show", "1997 Chinese Arts Exhibition", "1999 Chinese Arts Exhibition", " the Third Chinese Painting Exhibition", as well as in the painting invitation exhibition titled "Basic Humanities", "Common People" and in another national art show titled "strong-willed New Forth Army", winning prizes for several times in the meantime.

In the year of 2016, one of his works, the great painting "Longqing Seperating the Sea", was selected to join in the art creation project ,with the subject of Chinese civilization and historical, jointly hosted by Chinese Finance Bureau, Ministry of Culture and Literary Federation.  Furthermore, it was presented at Chinese Epic Poetry Art Exhibition in China National Museum.
